Daddy, I’m not sleepy.

I don’t want to stay in bed.

That’s good, my love–just close your eyes–

We’ll dream-travel instead.

Time-unravellers

Free to roam the sky–

The whole wide world is ours to see,

Let’s spread our wings and…

Spread 2

[Father and child fly up above a tiny house below.]

…FLY!

We’ll leave behind your bedroom

With its disappearing light,

And ride a blazing trail of dreams

Away into the night.

We’ll fly towards the setting sun–

How good to be alive!

Then plunge beneath the glowing waves,

Ready…

                steady
