A missing box of colours ruins Veer and Rashi’s plan to make the best rangoli ever, and so begins a race against time. With a little creativity and lots of teamwork, can they still create a rangoli that dazzles everyone at the Diwali Party?

Diwali was coming. The children couldn’t wait.

Page 2

‘Just think of all the fun we’ll have at our party!’ cheered Rashi.

‘Yes, Didi! And this time WE get to make the rangoli,’
beamed her little brother, Veer. ‘We’ll make the BEST one ever!’

Veer longed to get started but the party wasn’t until tomorrow.

‘Come on,’ his sister called. ‘There are other fun things to do first.’

Page 4

Together, they cleaned the house to welcome Goddess Lakshmi.

They hung colourful torans and sparkling lights with Papa.

They prepared laddoos with Mummy.

And they enjoyed festive stories with Nani.
